Mom,

You were feisty, strong, stubborn, determined, flawed, funny, generous, loving and creative. All these words truly describe you. The woman who gave me life, who held my hand and taught me important life lessons.  A  woman who taught me how to love. Who taught me what kind of woman and mother I wanted to be. You had incredible strength. You were a force to be reckoned with. A force, that for those who loved you, now have to learn how to live without.  Thank you Mom for 40 years of loving me. Thank you for your honesty and tough love. Thank you for giving me a good life. Thank you for giving me a good man to call my dad.  Thank you for letting us spend the last couple of years making wonderful memories together. Thank you for being my best friend.  I will forever love you. Until we meet again...
